The Fringe at Tramlines '25
Music fans of Sheffield, rejoice! Here we are in mid July, and once again Tramlines weekend looms close. If you've not got tickets to the main festival don't fear, there is so much else going on throughout the city, 'warming up' from Wednesday 23rd all the way through to Sunday 27th. Also, most of it's free and you may even find yourself a new favourite venue (I've learned of a few places I've not been to yet, just from researching this post).
To help you decide which to see out of the million (I've not counted but that sounds pretty accurate) acts gracing the city's pubs, basements and anything else they can find to use as a stage this year, I'll be sharing some personal recommendations over the coming days. Among these will be tried and tested favourites; bands listened to but not seen live before; and probably some I didn't know existed until this week. In the meantime, here's a summary of everything* that's happening over the weekend.
*As line ups are ceaselessly being anounced and updated, there's definitely gonna be stuff I missed. If you know of anything else that deserves to be on this list, feel free to drop over an email.
